Matthew Wrigley

A group partner with MJ Hudson in Guernsey, Matthew Wrigley has extensive experience developing and managing international real estate investment funds. Prior to his current position, Mr. Wrigley worked in Australia, at the global law firm Baker & McKenzie, where he was part of the market-leading Funds and Private Investment team.

 

Mr. Wrigley was also General Counsel and Global Head of Compliance for MacarthurCook Limited, a specialist fund management company listed on the Australian Securities Exchange. Following his expatriation to Singapore, he served as Chief Operating Officer of the MacarthurCook Industrial REIT, an investment fund listed on the Singapore Securities Exchange, and had several roles at AMP Capital Investors, including Business Development Manager for the Asian fund management platform and fund manager for the AMP Capital Vietnam  Real Estate Opportunity Fund.

Bruce Wookey

Bruce Wookey is one of the founding members of Cartesian Capital and has served as its CEO since 2001. He has specific expertise on global corporate finance, advisory and syndications.


Mr. Wookey was rated as one of Australia’s top equity analysts for more than 10 years, leading to a position as the lead lecturer covering advanced equity analysis for the Financial Services Institute of Australia’s (FINSIA) post-graduate diploma. Prior to that, he was at Potter Partners and County NatWest Securities, the antecedents of UBS and Citibank in Australia. Mr. Wookey also headed corporate finance for the Hong Kong and Shanghai Bank in his native country.


Mr. Wookey began his career in Chartered Accounting late in 1981 with PWC and has continued to be involved professionally at a senior level for more than 30 years. He was a founding member of the Urgent Issues Group and was elevated to Fellow of the Australian Institute in 2004. A member of the Australian Stock Exchange, Mr. Wookey is a Fellow of the Australian Institute of Company Directors and FINSIA.


Mr. Wookey has a Degree in Business Studies (Accounting) (FIT), a post graduate diploma in Banking & Finance (FINSIA), and an MBA from The University of Melbourne.

Al Razavi

Al Razavi has a long and varied career of accomplishment in the financial industry.

Prior to joining TAP Financial Partners, he was managing director of business development for SkyPower Global (the largest solar developer in North America) and helped raise financing for a large project in Uzbekistan. Mr. Razavi has also been managing partner for a boutique advisory and placement firm in Switzerland that assisted private equity firms with fundraising requirements among institutional and family office investors in Europe and the Middle East.

  

Mr. Razavi started his career on Wall Street, working with firms that included Shearson Lehman Brothers, Sutro & Company, and Merrill Lynch.

Derek Ludlow

Derek Ludlow is a highly experienced Global Capital markets head hunter turned Investment Relationship builder. He heads Juliet Rose Investment Distribution and McBarron Wood Global Capital Market Head Hunters as CEO and founder. 

 

Mr. Ludlow most recently served as a non-executive director for an Italian firm looking to start their UK entity and deliver financial growth. He has worked with some of the world’s leading financial companies, helping them on-board the very best board-level talent and supporting these global entities by raising senior-level capital for high profile projects.

 

With more than 25 years experience, Mr. Ludlow is an industry leader, bringing professionalism and taking great pride in everything he executes. He focuses on success, while also appreciating the process of seeing something take shape and grow.

Julian Bhatia

Julian Bhatia’s diverse financial expertise includes knowledge of financial products and market participants throughout the UK and Europe, Middle East, and Asia Pacific regions.

 

Prior to joining TAP, Mr. Bhatia led business development efforts within the Capital Markets Sales division at Apex Group. In that role, he collaborated with internal and external stakeholders to secure clients for investment banking, hedge fund, family office, asset management, private equity, and sovereign wealth initiatives.

 

Mr. Bhatia has also held a senior-level position as a commercial director within the fund services division of TMF Group in London, responsible for implementing an end-to-end sales process across global markets.

 

The University of London graduate has also worked within the institutional brokerage division of Valbury Capital, helping establish the firm’s emerging market fixed income group, Amalfi Partners, and HSBC Global Banking & Markets. He started his career in the general counsel division at Credit Suisse.
